Bench Pin and Sin

Bench pin and sin — for the maker whose favorite kind of trouble happens at the jeweler's bench.
Wearable solidarity for metalsmiths, silversmiths, and jewelry makers who take the craft seriously and themselves not at all — bench humor for the beautiful disaster of life at the bench. Makes a great gift for the jeweler, silversmith, or soldering obsessive in your life.

Washing Instructions
Care Instructions — a.k.a. How Not to Ruin Your New Favorite Shirt
You spend all day applying heat to metal. Your shirt would like to sit that one out.
Washing
- Cold water only. Hot water is for people who enjoy explaining shrinkage.
- Turn it inside out first — protect the print you're planning to wear until it's held together by good intentions.
- Gentle detergent. This cotton is low-drama. Keep it that way.
- Skip the fabric softener and bleach. Softener dulls the print; bleach does what bleach does.
- First wash may bleed a little — totally normal. Keep it away from anything white and precious for round one.
Drying
- Air dry if you can — gentlest option, keeps it soft, and buys you time for a snack.
- Tumble dry low if you must. High heat shrinks cotton and cooks the print.
- Pull it out while it's just dry to dodge the wrinkles. (Or don't. We're not the wrinkle police.)
Ironing
- Inside out, low heat, never straight on the print — heat is the one thing the ink can't survive.
- No dry cleaning. It's a t-shirt, not a tuxedo.
Shipping and returns
Good Things Take Time (But Not Too Long)
Free shipping on orders over $75 — because we reward commitment to the bench.
Every shirt is printed to order, just for you, so there's a short wait before it ships: about 3–5 business days. Nobody's rushing — not us, not you, not the torch. Once it's out the door, the carrier takes over, and it usually lands within a few days. Track it obsessively or forget you ordered it and get a happy surprise down the line — we support both approaches.
Returns — the "Something Went Wrong" policy
We want you to love your shirt. If it shows up damaged, defective, or just plain wrong, we'll make it right — that's on us.
The deal:
- Damaged or defective? Full refund or replacement, no interrogation.
- You've got 30 days from delivery to let us know.
- The item should be unworn and in the condition it arrived (unless it arrived wrong — then that one's on us).
- Email info@jewelryartistcollective.com — actual humans, actual replies.
We're not a faceless corporation with a phone tree. If something's off, just reach out. We're all just trying to get through the day without unnecessary drama.
Policy may change, but we'll always keep it reasonable.
